1. What this site is

  • Austin Roofers List (austinrooferslist.com) is a lead referral directory.
  • We collect contact information and project details from homeowners and share them with independent roofing contractors in the Greater Austin area.
  • We are not a roofing contractor. We do not perform, schedule, supervise, or guarantee any roofing work.

2. Contractor independence and tiers

  • All contractors listed on this site are independent businesses.
  • We are not their employer, agent, or partner, and we do not control their pricing, quality, or conduct.
  • Contractors operate in tiers (Free, Verified, Priority, Featured); only contractors in paid tiers (Verified and above) receive homeowner leads.
  • Directory positioning and lead delivery timing may be influenced by paid commercial relationships.
  • Homeowners are solely responsible for independently verifying any contractor’s credentials, references, and insurance before hiring them.

3. Tier badges and paid placement

Some contractors display a tier badge. Each badge has a specific meaning:

  • “Verified Pro” — We have collected a certificate of insurance (COI) with a general liability limit of at least $300,000 from this contractor.
  • “Priority Pro” — Same COI requirement as Verified Pro, plus a paid monthly subscription for enhanced placement and faster lead delivery.
  • “Featured Pro” — Same COI requirement as Verified Pro, plus a paid monthly subscription for top placement within a specific zip code and immediate lead delivery.

These badges do not indicate that a contractor holds a state roofing license (Texas does not license roofers at the state level), nor that the contractor is vetted, background-checked, or that their work quality has been assessed.

4. No guarantee of quotes

  • Submitting a form on this site does not guarantee that a homeowner will receive a quote or that any contractor will contact them.
  • Response times and willingness to bid are determined solely by each contractor.

5. Cost estimates

  • Any cost estimator tools on this site provide preliminary price ranges based on market data.
  • These ranges are estimates only and do not constitute final or binding quotes.
  • By submitting a form, you consent to be contacted by matched roofing contractors in your area regarding your project.
  • This contact may include phone calls or text messages, including communications sent via automated technology, automatic telephone dialing systems, or artificial or prerecorded voices.
  • This consent applies even if your number is listed on any state or federal Do Not Call registry.
  • This consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.

7. Accuracy of information

  • Contractor listings are compiled from public sources and periodic verification.
  • We make reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate but do not guarantee it is current or error-free.

8. Prohibited uses and anti-scraping

  • You may use this site only for legitimate, personal roofing project inquiries or authorized business contractor participation.
  • Automated data extraction — including scraping, harvesting, crawling, or using bots to download directory data, text, or tools from this site — is strictly prohibited.
  • Violations cause direct, difficult-to-quantify harm. You agree that $5,000 per day of violation is a reasonable estimate of damages and not a penalty, and you consent to injunctive relief without bond.
  • If you believe any content or image hosted on this site infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent.

10. Contractor platform rules (B2B Addendum)

For roofing contractors accessing or utilizing this platform:

  • Directory Control: We reserve the right to modify, refuse, or delete any contractor listing, tier badge, or profile at our sole discretion without notice.
  • Lead Flow & Allocation: We do not guarantee lead volume, lead quality, or lead exclusivity. Multiple contractors may receive the same lead simultaneously.
  • No Refunds: All fees paid for premium tiers, subscription listings, or lead access are strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether a homeowner provides inaccurate contact info or fails to respond.
  • Platform Uptime: The site is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We are not liable for any lost business revenue resulting from platform downtime or routing errors.
  • Contractor Indemnification: Contractors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hill Country Asset Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company, operating as Austin Roofers List, and its operators from any third-party claims, lawsuits, regulatory fines, or damages — including but not limited to federal TCPA violations, Texas SB 140 / Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 302 violations, and Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) claims — arising from the contractor’s subsequent use of contact data provided by this platform.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hill Country Asset Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company, operating as Austin Roofers List, and its operators are not liable for:

  • Any damages arising from your use of this site
  • The conduct, work quality, or representations of any contractor
  • Any contractor’s failure to respond, quote, or complete work

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of this site is strictly limited to $100.

12. Governing law and venue

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
  • Any disputes or legal claims arising from this site shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Williamson County, Texas.

13. Mandatory individual arbitration

  • Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of this site — including claims by or against any contractor — shall be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, not by a court or jury.
  • Class action waiver: You and Hill Country Asset Group LLC (operating as Austin Roofers List) each waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding of any kind.
  • This arbitration clause does not apply to claims that qualify for small claims court in Williamson County, Texas, or to requests for emergency injunctive relief.
  • If this arbitration clause is found unenforceable, the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction in Williamson County, Texas.

14. Changes to these Terms

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
